Quilt blocks purchased on Ebay
I have started purchasing quilts and/or blocks on Ebay and then quilting them. Here is a wall hanging I made from blocks for my sister Ann. Hope to get it quilted this weekend. Warming up the Millie!
Carona and her quilts!
Carona loves it when I place quilts on the banister. She pulls them off and then crawls under them. Ya gotta love her.

Japanese Fabric
I have never paid much attention to Japanese fabric although the International Fabric Collection is just north of my house. I have always been more into the African, Mexican and Australian fabrics. I stopped on Friday to pick up a "cat" panel, The Good Luck/Good Fortune Cat. I bought a yard of Japanese fabric on sale for $6 a yard and it is lovely. It has a silky feeling, and now I will have to look into them more. Check out International Fabric Collection at www.intfab.com They have some wonderful fabric.

Snow Storm and Quilting patterns
We are supposed to get 6-15 inches of snow from this storm, which is nothing for us! I would rather get snowed in at home, where I can quilt instead of at work. I would like to start making quilt patterns for all who are interested. Please comment if there is an interest for easy quilt patterns that will probably be free or available for a small fee.

Charlotte's Crown
Just completed for Judy's "Sewing and Fabric" in the Summit Town Center. Now I have to rewrite the instructions to sell the pattern. Everyone loves the smaller one in her store, but I am not so sure about the colors. I like this one much better. Will offer the pattern here too as soon as it is completed. The quilting was done with an APQS and Hartley Fence.
